Ambedkar Trust is making an important contribution towards strengthening the identity and visibility of internal migrant workers and their families. Ambedkar Trust is a Bangalore based non-for-profit focused on community development and capacity building within the local migrant and low-socioeconomic community. Our mission is to ensure a sustainable living environment for migrant and poor families through the provision of nutrition, education, health, vocational and life skills training and counselling services.

EDUCATION

Patients found on the streets or due to some unforeseen situations families cannot take care of them, to provide emotional, spiritual and social needs.

COVID -19 MEDICAL SUPPORT

Medical services means medical, surgical, dental, x-ray, ambulance, hospital, professional nursing, and funeral services, and includes the cost of eyeglasses.

Educational Support

Education provides stimulating activities, organized games, day-care and schooling programmes for many migrant and low socioeconomic children within the Bangalore community. In the morning the children engage in subjects of maths, grammar, spelling all of which taught in English.

Training Center

Our trained staff provide regular life-skills training on various topics including nutrition, parenting, child protection, stress management and the importance of education. The audience includes migrant families, parents of children under educational sponsorship

Medical Support

This is an educational support service for children from needy families. The educational sponsorship programme is for a year and it takes care of the child's education, stationery and uniform. The progress of the child is reviewed regularly to help the student achieve a good academic record
